Digital Champions, a fast-growing social-first agency that turns cultural intelligence into creative impact , has revealed major milestones in its evolution with the launch of its refreshed brand, new website and the formalisation of its regional presence across the GCC, including an expanded Dubai office, and formalised operations in Qatar.
This expansion comes alongside a series of new business wins, including Pret A Manger, under Emirates Leisure Retail, and Pacsun, under Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, signaling strong ongoing momentum and demand for the agency’s culturally-led, social-first approach.
Having built a strong reputation working behind the scenes with leading brands across the region, including Naga Architects, AlUla Moments, DHB Holding, and FuelFest Arabia, Digital Champions is now stepping into the spotlight.
This evolution comes as the agency sharpens its positioning around a fundamental shift it’s observing in the market: social media has matured from ‘going viral’ to ‘earning relevance,’ and brands need partners who decode culture, not chase trends.
This marks a new phase of growth defined by expanded capabilities, a strengthened leadership team, and a more structured, future-facing approach to digital.
At the heart of this next chapter is Digital Champions’ senior leadership team: Ahmed Yossry (CEO), Mohamed El-Daly (Managing Partner), Haitham Othman (Executive Creative Director), and Sherif Khoshala (Chief Financial Officer), who collectively drive the agency’s strategic direction, creative excellence, and sustainable regional expansion.
Yossry brings a background across communications, digital strategy and brand governance, with a focus on helping organisations bring more clarity and structure to their marketing.
Daly, whose career is rooted in social and digital strategy, has worked with more than 100 brands across EMEA, including Microsoft, Google, L’Oréal, Coca-Cola and Emirates Airlines, with a strong track record in platform-led growth and modern brand building.
Othman leads the agency’s creative vision with over a decade of award-winning work across the region, while Khoshala oversees financial strategy and sustainable growth across multiple markets.
Digital Champions has experienced significant growth across its client base, team, and service offering, partnering with brands across sectors to deliver culturally intelligent strategies that resonate in an increasingly complex digital space.
Speaking on the announcement, Mohamed El-Daly, Managing Partner at Digital Champions, says, “Social media isn’t rocket science, it’s just been done wrong. We saw brands chasing algorithms instead of understanding people, so we built a team that actually lives online, where memes, movements, and meaning collide. As we grow across the GCC, our focus stays the same: helping brands decode culture and turn insight into work people actually care about.“
Ahmed Yossry, CEO of Digital Champions, adds, “This next phase is about building with intent. As brands scale across the region, there is a growing need for more structured, disciplined approaches to digital – ones that align closely with business objectives. We combine the rigor of strategy, the artistry of design, and the agility of a boutique to help organizations navigate that complexity with clarity, consistency, and a long-term view of growth.”
With offices in Cairo, Dubai, and Doha, and soon expanding to Saudi Arabia, Digital Champions brings what it calls ‘cultural duality’ – regional roots with global perspective – giving the agency insight into both local sensibilities and international standards. This positions the agency to support both regional and international brands looking to scale in the Middle East.
As part of this new phase, Digital Champions intends to adopt an always-on communications approach, regularly sharing updates on business growth, new hires, expanded services, and client success stories – further reinforcing its position as a leading digital partner for brands across the region.
