PR is as old as the earth itself and is rooted in our values, beliefs, and cultures, by W7Worldwide’s Abdulrahman Inayat

By Abdulrahman Inayat, co-founder & strategic planning director, W7Worldwide.

I began my journey in communications at a young age, during the spring of the digital era which gave me an insight into the changing landscape of communications and helped me anticipate its future.

Having led several initiatives and having worked in various agencies, advising global, local and multinational companies in addition to government entities focusing on their reputation management, I acquired a well-rounded experience early on. Guided by the belief that change is constant, I sought a much-needed disruption in the industry which I am working towards through co-founding W7Worldwide, where I serve as a strategic planner, which continually proves its precedence and credibility to date.

During my years in PR and communications, I identified a gap in the market in the region. This has pushed me to become an advocate for the PR and communications industry evolution and helped correct the perception of the general public about the industry and restoring faith in it, developing and strategizing the most effective brand image and reputation strategies.

Being dedicated to both digital and traditional communications, I always had a vision and drive to connect and communicate with people and I relayed my passion to the field of communications where I persistently strive to innovate and effectively connect clients with their audience.

Perhaps my most notable success to date is a leading part in breathing life into the “By Whom” concept and has led to the development of the ABC model both of which designed to reduce the gap and have become an integral part of all of the clients’ strategies. Furthermore, most recently, I was chosen as the youngest member of the Regional PRCA Board, the world’s largest PR professional body, representing over 30,000 practitioners.
