Paramount Pictures signs Eye Studio to market upcoming film release

Paramount Pictures’ collaboration with Eye Studio explores film promotions as a new market for digital production houses to capitalize on their CGI skills.

To market the soon-to-release film, Eye Studio developed seven iconic CGI assets for the movie ‘IF’ by John Krasinski.

Following a young girl who sees people’s forgotten imaginary friends, ‘IF’, is a tale of imagination becoming reality. Using CGI videos, Eye Studio brought the film’s characters to real-world locations, creating an immersive marketing experience.

Viewers can watch Blue and his friends come to life at major global landmarks like London’s Big Ben clock tower and around New York City’s busy streets. Other locations where you can witness IF in real (CGI) life include Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, and Australia.

“We had to learn the mannerisms of the characters, their roles, and work in tandem with Paramount Pictures to ensure that when we bring the movie experience to the streets from screens, it’s top-notch,” said Taha Dungerwala, Art Director at Eye Studio.

Creative Director Juhi Rupani, echoed Dungerwala’s sentiments, emphasizing the collaborative effort between Eye Studio and Paramount.

“Our partnership has allowed us to merge creativity with technology seamlessly, bringing the vision of ‘IF’ to life in ways previously unimaginable,” said Rupani.

Eye Studio was also behind the viral Barbie CGI takeover of Dubai Mall’s ‘The Fountain’, gaining over 3 million views and countless re-shares around the world.

“The CGI landscape is changing every day, and it’s pretty fun to watch it unravel,” said Rupani. The creative design studio remains at the forefront of innovation, continually pushing boundaries and redefining the possibilities of digital storytelling.
