electriclimefilms with M&C Saatchi brought together 3 influencer to promote the new Oppo ‘Find X2 Pro 5G’

In the films the 3 influencers Film Director Nayla Al Khaja, Professional Photographer Jumana Jolie and Tech Reviewer Emkwan associated their talents with the phone's features.

Shot in 4 locations, electriclimefilms worked closely with M&C Saatchi to create three main films for OPPO, the well-known phone brand. Director Damiano Fieramosca worked together with the creative team at M&C Saatchi to tell three stories, highlighting different subjects all treated in parallel to have a similar look and feel. The campaign was made as a connection to a larger global campaign.

“The whole experience was an amazing creative collaboration with great effort from all parties involved,” says Director Damiano Fieramosca.

The campaign’s main objective was to focus on the exceptional battery life and special qualities such as the ultra-vision camera system and screen the new Oppo Find X2 Pro 5G’s unique features. The films centred around three well-known characters in the media world who were the protagonists of each films: Film Director Nayla Al Khaja; Professional Photographer Jumana Jolie; and Tech Reviewer Emkwan.

The idea behind having influencers as the protagonists and promoters of the campaign was to correlate the features of the phone with each talents’ respective professions: Jumana highlights the smartphone’s high-end camera features, Nayla highlights the ultra-vision screen for ease of media viewing, and Emkwan highlights the technologically advanced, fast charging, and long-lasting battery life of the new OPPO phone. By allowing these dynamic but practical experiences to organically lead the films, the product’s presence was subtly integrated in order to maintain and reflect the spirit of the brand.

With a focus on cinematography to guide the narrative of the film, DOP Elias Trad used gentle handheld shots were taken to help complement the confidentiality of the VO and presence of the characters. All three films were shot on an Alexa Mini paired with soft cinema Cooke anamorphic lenses to achieve a high cinematic visual quality.
