JWT Dubai’s former regional business director Christian Loos has launched the regional office of creative recruitment agency The Talent Business.
The Dubai office is the company’s sixth global hub and will service the Middle East and Africa region under the leadership of Loos, who had been with JWT for a year following his move from Cheil Worldwide. The company specialises in providing senior talent to the creative industry.

I was requested for an appointment with this company as I had inquired about a position, met the MD who babbled on for over an hour finally I asked if there was an available vacancy to which I was told there was not and this meeting was just to network. Absolute waste of my time. Calling candidates for meetings with the sole purpose of networking/gaining information is not only a pathetic tactic to use but speaks volumes about the company. I don’t mind networking, just be upfront about it from the start so I don’t waste precious time taking time off work to attend a meeting in the hope of obtaining a suitable position. Just another below average recruitment company, I think I will stick to referrals rather than agencies to find a good position.
