Creators HQ, the UAE’s first dedicated creators’ hub, has partnered with Amazon Ads to launch Amazon Creators Foundry, a new initiative aimed at helping UAE-based content creators turn their ideas into scalable product businesses on Amazon.ae.

Announced during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the programme reflects how the creator economy in the region is evolving beyond content monetisation and towards entrepreneurship. Organised by the UAE Government Media Office under the theme ‘Content for Good’, this year’s summit brought together more than 15,000 creators and influencers, alongside over 500 speakers representing a combined global audience of 3.5 billion followers.

At its core, Amazon Creators Foundry is designed to support creators looking to build, launch and grow their own brands. Through the Creators HQ network, eligible participants will receive end-to-end support from Amazon, spanning product ideation, online retail fundamentals, brand building, digital marketing and customer acquisition. The initiative also opens up gaming and entertainment commerce opportunities, while enabling creators to build dedicated storefronts on Amazon.ae and access Amazon Ads credits to increase visibility.

For creators already selling on Amazon.ae, the programme offers a pathway to international expansion, with the option to list products on Amazon stores globally through the platform’s global selling registration programme, connecting them to customers worldwide.

Her Excellency Alia Al Hammadi, Vice Chairperson of the UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, said the initiative reflects the UAE’s ambition to position itself as a global hub for the creator economy. By enabling creators to build sustainable businesses, she noted, the programme supports individual growth while contributing to the wider digital economy.

From Amazon’s perspective, the initiative taps into a broader shift in how creators are using their influence. Rayan Karaky, Managing Director of Amazon Ads for EMEA and Southeast Asia, pointed to the growing role creators play as product innovators, not just promoters. With a deep understanding of their audiences, he said, creators are uniquely positioned to identify unmet needs and translate them into commercially viable products.

By combining creator insight with Amazon’s retail infrastructure and advertising tools, Amazon Creators Foundry aims to turn creative ideas into tangible products – reinforcing the UAE’s push to transform influence into long-term, scalable businesses.
