Fans of Regular Show: Lost Tapes are in for a seriously fun surprise this summer as Cartoon Network MENA teams up with KOI Thé UAE for a limited-edition collaboration inspired by the cult-favourite animated series.
Running for a limited time at KOI Thé UAE, Dubai, the collaboration will introduce an exclusive themed bubble tea experience inspired by some of the show’s most iconic characters and chaotic energy fans know and love.
Known for its offbeat humour, nostalgic appeal, and unforgettable duo Mordecai and Rigby, Regular Show: Lost Tapes has built a loyal fanbase globally and across the region since its debut on Cartoon Network. The collaboration with KOI Thé UAE brings the animated universe into the real world through themed campaign visuals, collectible materials, and immersive in-store experiences, playful in-store branding, and fan experience designed to celebrate the spirit of the show.
The partnership marks a crossover between pop culture and lifestyle, tapping into the growing demand for experiential brand collaborations in the UAE while creating a fresh way for fans to engage with beloved entertainment franchises offline.
“We kept asking ourselves, how do we take the world of Regular Show: Lost Tapes beyond the screen and bring it into everyday life in a way that genuinely surprises people?” says Aya Hammad, PR & Digital Manager from Warner Bros Discovery Kids Brands MENA.
She adds, “The show’s whole DNA is rooted in the unexpected. Mordecai and Rigby are always stumbling into the most chaotic, unplanned adventures, and that energy felt like the perfect match for a pop-up, limited-edition collaboration that you didn’t see coming. The key message we wanted to land was that Regular Show isn’t just something you watch it’s a feeling, a vibe. Nostalgia wrapped in humour, and now you can literally taste it. The creative concept was a natural extension of the key art, featuring characters with boba teas in hand, a playful nod to a trend loved by kids today.”
The partnership goes beyond just a branded cup with a logo on it. It includes themed bubble tea creations inspired by fan-favourite characters, collectible materials, in-store branding, and the kind of visual storytelling that makes customers want to stop, take a photo, and share it. In the space, there is a QR code which leads to a 20 minute long special episode from the Regular Show Lost Tapes Series for dedicated fans.
“We had a few clear ambitions going into this. Brand awareness was a big one bringing Regular Show: Lost Tapes back into the cultural conversation in a tangible, shareable way. But beyond awareness, we also wanted to deepen the relationship fans already have with the franchise. This is about loyalty and emotional connection, not just eyeballs. And of course, driving footfall to KOI Thé UAE and creating genuine buzz around the collaboration was important for both partners. When you combine pop culture, nostalgia, and something as universally loved as bubble tea, you have a compelling hook that works on multiple levels,” said Hammad.
“At KOI Thé UAE, we are always exploring creative collaborations that bring new experiences to our customers. Partnering with Cartoon Network on such an iconic series allows us to combine pop culture, nostalgia, and bubble tea culture in a fun and engaging way,” said Rochelle Lim, Business Development Manager, KOI Thé UAE.
Influencer strategy
The Regular Show fanbase is not just globally, but right here in the region. These are fans who grew up watching Mordecai and Rigby, who still quote the show, share clips online, and actively engage with the brand years later.
For a deeply loyal and emotionally connected fan based, Warner Brothers reached out to media personalities, content reviewers, daddy influencers the partnership through a gifting programme that was designed for genuine curiosity and organic conversations about the show.
By prioritising authenticity over reach, the reviews that came back were honest, genuine reactions.
“Alongside the gifting programme, we also secured an exclusive interview with Chai with Ahmed one of the most well-respected and credible reviewers in the region. Ahmed sat down with the creators of Regular Show: Lost Tapes for an in-depth conversation that gave audiences a genuine behind-the-scenes look at the show and the creative minds behind it,” says Hammad.
To further amplify the campaign, influencers were invited to experience the collaboration firsthand through gifted vouchers, encouraging them to try the themed drinks and share their experiences with their audiences.
Visitors can expect limited-edition themed bubble tea creations inspired by fan-favourite characters, alongside themed visuals available throughout the activation period.
The collaboration will only be available for a limited time at KOI Thé UAE, Dubai Mall while promotional materials last. Fans are encouraged to visit early and experience the collaboration before it disappears… just like one of Mordecai and Rigby’s unpredictable adventures.
