Noon becomes official e-commerce partner of Al-Ittihad FC

The partnership with one of the Kingdom’s oldest football clubs is expected to further strengthen the brand’s foundations

Noon has partnered with Al-Ittihad FC to become its official e-commerce partner.

Noon’s partnership with Al-Ittihad, one of the Kingdom’s oldest football clubs, is expected to further strengthen the brand’s foundations in the region it was born.

 A major partnership deal between Al-Ittihad FC and Noon was first signed in 2018, which saw the digital marketplace become the main sponsor of the football club.

The Middle East’s e-commerce platform is also the merchandising partner of Jeddah-based football club Al-Ahli.

Through the partnership, supporters of the Saudi Pro League club can access official kits and gear featuring Al-Ahli’s logo and trademarks, designed and produced by Noon.

Ron Gourlay, the club’s CEO, said the partnership with Noon is a major step within its commercial strategy to diversify its products and services portfolio.

Ahmed Gadouri, general manager for Saudi Arabia at Noon, said at the time: “Our goal is to connect with and build strong relationships with football fans, which will ultimately improve the user experience on Noon.

“As a company, we are committed to enhancing the shopping experience and supporting local communities.”
