Stage set for live, on-stage debate at Campaign Middle East event

The first-ever Campaign Debate in the region will be hosted at the Campaign Breakfast Briefing: The Future is Now on 12 September at the Metropolitan Hotel Dubai.

Two teams, four voices, one question: Has creativity lost its showmanship due to its focus on data?

Industry leaders will lend their expertise to battle it out on the stage.

On team ‘For’, Rory McEntee, Chief Marketing Officer, GymNation and Dr. Hoda Daou, Managing Director, Annalect will make their argument for why creativity in advertising has been stripped of its power. 

Battling them, Passant El-Ghanem, Marketing Director – MEA, Kraft Heinz and Mazen Nahawi, Founder and CEO, CARMA and SOCIALEYEZ make up team ‘Against’. They will make the case for how data-led insights can service bold storytelling, empowering marketers to pursue disruptive creativity.

The 15-minute Campaign Debate will follow the format of a college-stye debate. Both teams will deliver an opening statement, followed by a rebuttal from the opposing teams. Debaters will then present their closing statements, offering their case as a final stance on the topic.
