Volvo UAE offers a ‘go-to safe space’ in World Mental Health Day campaign

The campaign intends to inspire people to view their vehicles differently — not just as cars, but as spaces that provide a sense of calm and comfort, and keep them focused on what matters most: their well-being.

Volvo UAE has shared details of its ‘Your Go-To Safe Space’ campaign, which shines a spotlight on how creating a safe space in a car goes beyond the mere features of a car.

The campaign, ideated and implemented in partnership with Memac Ogilvy – under the WPP umbrella and part of the Ogilvy Worldwide network – encourages drivers to find comfort in their go-to safe space.

“When life feels a bit too much, it’s not just about stepping back — it can also be about stepping into a familiar space,” one of the posts reads, while another calls for people to “Pause. Rest. And recharge.”

The “Your Go-To Safe Space” campaign aims to be a reminder to find those little pockets of peace that help people feel grounded — be it a quiet corner, a beautiful view, or a brief pause in the day.

“In today’s fast-paced world, juggling multiple responsibilities often leaves little room for self-care or finding a peaceful space to relax and recharge. Conversations around mental health frequently highlight this challenge, with people citing the lack of accessible safe spaces as a significant barrier to taking care of their mental well-being, leaving them constantly searching for a moment of respite — a place to simply breathe and collect themselves,” the Memac Ogilvy team told Campaign Middle East in a statement.
