1 million Robux up for grabs as Saudi’s Riyadh Season enters Roblox

Games developer studio The Gang, in collaboration with Big Time Creative Shop, has turned Riyadh Season landmarks and cultural attractions into a lively, interactive destination on Roblox.

Games developer studio The Gang, in collaboration with Big Time Creative Shop, is launching a spectacular Roblox world for Riyadh Season, Saudi Arabia’s biggest festival, building a virtual world that recreates the excitement and cultural highlights of the event with a blend of tourism, gaming and entertainment.

What’s more, several players from USA, UK and KSA will be in with the chance of winning 1 million Robux each for participating. Robux is the native currency for Robux and 1 million Robux has an equivalent value of over $7,500.

The experience reimagines the magic of Riyadh Season inside Roblox, turning its real-world landmarks and cultural attractions into a lively, interactive destination.

Players can take part in treasure hunts and play games such as Obbys, Tennis and Whack-A-Mole, watch fireworks and visit virtual destinations, including Paris, Kuwait, Italy and South Korea.

The Roblox experience runs alongside the real-world Riyadh Season, which spans October to March offering six months of concerts, sporting events and cultural experiences.

The Gang were tasked with bringing the excitement of the festival to global audiences through a Roblox experience.

Big Time collaborated closely with The Gang in order to bring an experience that works as both a fun Roblox game and a faithful representation of all the excitement people can experience at the 2025 Riyadh Season festival.

Throughout the season, players can collect golden tickets and combine UGC items to unlock a special Riyadh Season Robot avatar.

The experience will evolve to include competitions with major prizes and regular content drops, including a new area themed around the upcoming Beast Land area and two new minigames based on the Boxing and Wrestling events. This will encourage players to return throughout the festival.

The Riyadh Season programme combines both entertainment and heritage with events taking place at venues such as Boulevard City, Boulevard World and Kingdom Arena.

First launched in 2019, Riyadh Season attracted more than 18 million visitors in 2024, making it one of the world’s largest winter festivals.

Roblox boasts 380 million monthly active users and over 100 million daily active users. Players spend an average of two hours fifty minutes on the site each day.
