“For a long time, the safest choice was to keep things quiet and neutral. Now people are ready for more,” said Xanthe Wells, VP of Global Creative at Pinterest. “Pinterest Palette is an invitation to be a little louder with how you feel – to play, to experiment and to let your world reflect the life you actually want to live.”

Trending colours for 2026

Trending colours reflect what’s happening in culture – optimism, nostalgia, restraint, rebellion. Here’s what Pinterest users are gravitating towards in 2026:

  • Cool Blue

According to Pinterest’s 2026 Colour Trends report, this frosty shade of blue – hex #D7EFFF (RGB: 215, 239, 255) – is gaining momentum. Searches for glacier aesthetics are up 35 per cent, while cool blue itself has grown 85 per cent, and icy nails winters has jumped 230 per cent. Users are also saving content featuring the shade in record numbers, with one variation seeing a 525 per cent saves.

  • Jade

According to Pinterest’s 2026 Colour Trends report, the colour jade is between mint and moss – hex #AEB8A0 (RGB: 174, 184, 160).

Searches for the jade aesthetics included jade marble nails with +450 per cent searches, jade texture with +40 per cent and jade accessories with +135 per cent. Users are also saving content featuring the shade, with one variation seeing a 305 per cent saves.

  • Plum Noir

According to Pinterest’s 2026 Colour Trends report, this deep rich purple is between burgundy and velvet brown – hex #351E28 (RGB: 53, 30, 40).

Users looked up the plum noir aesthetics included dark plum with +220 per cent searches. plum living room ideas with +60 per cent, dark purple shades with 40 per cent. Users are also saving content featuring the shade, with one variation seeing a 480 per cent saves.

This electric chartreuse is a vibrant colour that is somewhere between yellow and green – hex #E9F056 (RGB: 233, 240, 86).

Users looked up the chartreuse green with +175 per cent searches, lime green wedding with +70 per cent and yellow green outfit with +55 per cent. Users are also saving content featuring the shade, with one variation seeing a 130 per cent saves.

  • Persimmon

Not entirely orange, but with red hues – hex #FF5C34 (RGB: 255, 92, 52). This colour follows the same vibrant style wasabi offered –  both were a burst of colour.

Users looked up the orange colour suit with +105 per cent searches, persimmon aesthetic with +100 per cent and orange colour combo with +75 per cent.

Users are also saving content featuring the shade, with one variation seeing a 80 per cent saves.
