Meta:

At Cannes Lions 2026, Meta announced new AI that include: an end-to-end creative solution that makes AI-enabled ad creation accessible to every marketer, unified creator partnership tools that turn authentic content into high-performing ads, and AI-enabled experiences that connect directly with customers. 

Pinterest:

The platform has introduced, Pinterest Model Context Protocol (MCP), is an AI-native infrastructure layer that connects Pinterest campaign, analytics and keyword insights with third-party AI copilots and agentic tools. The feature is available to select partners globally.

Pinterest has also introduced a new Performance+ creative AI model. According to the platform, the model evaluates multiple creative variants and selects one for each ad impression. The feature is available globally.

ChatGPT:

ChatGPT has upgraded GPT-5.5 Instant to improve conversational quality, especially in moments where users are making decisions, seeking advice, planning, researching options, or shopping. The model is better at identifying user intent and maintaining context across multiple turns, while also handling complex, multi-constraint instructions more reliably.

Other updates include

  • Long text pastes over 10,000 characters are now automatically converted into attachments for cleaner chats, with the option to convert them back into the text field if needed.
  • Sidebar organisation has been improved, making it easier to pin chats and projects, while Recents can now be viewed as a single list or grouped by project.
  • A new “Start writing” feature lets users turn highlighted responses into editable drafts or save them to their Library.
  • With scheduled tasks, users can ask ChatGPT to send reminders, handle recurring work, or monitor things for them. This update makes tasks easier to find and manage, faster and more reliable, with more useful notifications.

Snapchat:

Snapchat has introduced a new suite of AI-powered capabilities across their ads stack. From campaign setup and creative development to shopping, creator partnerships, and conversational experiences, the platform is using AI to simplify workflows, unlock new experiences, and improve performance.

X

X has announced updates to its new Ads Manager platform which is making advertising on the platform simpler and more accessible for businesses of all sizes. New features enable advertisers to streamline conversion tracking and simplify campaign setup, helping brands more easily measure performance, understand results, and optimise campaigns.

Google:

Google has launched Gemini Spark, a 24/7 agentic AI assistant that performs multi-step tasks across Google apps including Gmail, Drive and Calendar. It is currently in beta for US-based AI Ultra subscribers, with wider rollout plans yet to be confirmed
