Maddict, a mobile marketing platform and location data technology, has appointed Steven Sidawi as its new Chief Operating Officer in Dubai, UAE.
Sidawi told Campaign, “I am thrilled to be part of the team here at Maddict. With the worlds of adtech and martech becoming increasingly challenging to navigate, we look forward to bridging these worlds to drive real outcomes for our partners. The need for data to flow through all work streams that influence customers’ and product lifecycles is apparent. Together with the industry we will strive to make this a reality.”
Sidawi has over 15 years of experience working in various areas, including media partners, data and analytics, digital technologies and customer experience, across agencies such as Publicis, UM and Choueiri Group.
Maddict’s CEO, Maud Moawad, said to Campaign, “We are excited to have Steven on board again for the second time at Maddict. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, and will be working closely with our executive teams to develop and execute the strategies that support our company updated mission and commitment towards the Personal data protection laws (PDPL) newly enforced in KSA and UAE.”
The UAE federal decree law regarding the protection of personal data was issued in 2021 to be effective and enforced in 2022. The laws are thought to be the keys to better alignment with international data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA, among others.
