Augustus Media announced the promotion of Josef Obeid to chief financial officer.
Obeid has been at Augustus Media since 2015. He has over 13 years of experience; from starting in the regional finance department at Mindshare MENA in Lebanon to managing the group consolidation financial reports and a transfer to Mindshare Dubai to explore the operational level of the business.
“After relocating to Dubai, Obeid explored the corporate financial market, managing equity and forex training before joining Augustus. His ability to combine consolidated reporting, operational finances and the financial market has facilitated a more constructive, analytical mindset that has taken him to where he is today. As CFO, Obeid is set to take on the role that is primarily focused on strategy, forecasting, planning and analyzing how Augustus Media will grow in revenue in line with future, current and historic data.,” said Augustus Media in a statement.
