Audi Middle East has appointed independent creative communications agency The Romans as its PR partner, as the brand prepares for a series of marketing activities in the coming months to shine a light on its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the future of electric mobility.
The three-year contract will see The Romans supporting Audi Middle East with PR and communications to strengthen the brand’s presence across key markets in the region.
Sharing a reaction on the partnership in an exclusive comment to Campaign Middle East, Elmir Arnautovic, Communications Director, Audi Middle East, said, “The mobility sector is transforming at a rapid pace in the region, and at Audi, we’re moving into an incredibly exciting yet critical new era, too.”
“To grow the brand during this time, we need fresh ideas and smart, integrated thinking. After a competitive pitch, The Romans demonstrated a clear knowledge of how to utilise PR as a brand builder, as opposed to much of the cookie cutter PR approaches we see in the market,” Arnautovic added.
The Romans reiterated that the agency remains passionate about briefs that challenge the status quo in a statement to Campaign Middle East.
Joe Lipscombe, Partner, The Romans, said, “Undeniably, Audi is one of the greatest auto brands on the planet. And legacy aside, what it’s doing from a design, innovation, and sustainability perspective is incredibly exciting.”
“The objectives they outlined to us were ambitious, determined, and inspiringly challenging. We look forward to delivering The Romans’ unique strategic and creative product to Audi in a competitive and transformative era for automotive. Also, everyone at The Romans now wants to drive an Audi,” Lipscombe concluded.
