David Paysant has joined Momentum ME as Chief Growth and Commercial Officer, a pivotal leadership role designed to accelerate the agency’s regional footprint and expand its full-service capabilities.

With a career defined by high-stakes business transformations and cross-market leadership, Paysant is responsible for the strategic scaling of operations, opening new industry verticals, and enhancing the commercial value proposition for Momentum’s offering in the region.

Paysant’s reputation as a growth architect was forged in the competitive landscapes of Asia. He initially distinguished himself in Hong Kong, spearheading market entry and business development for major European Tobacco groups looking to establish a foothold in the APAC region.

This foundational experience in navigating complex regulatory environments and consumer behaviors transitioned into a career in advertising.

In 2008, Paysant launched OgilvyAction (now VML) in Hong Kong. Under his stewardship, the agency experienced exponential growth, expanding from a boutique team of four to a powerhouse of more than 50 professionals, while securing prestigious accounts and multiple industry accolades for creative and effectiveness excellence.

In 2017, Paysant moved to Publicis Groupe as Managing Director, where he was instrumental in restructuring and revitalising the Digitas and overall Publicis Groupe Middle East digital offerings. His leadership was a driving force behind the group’s landmark win of the global creative and media Cathay Pacific account.

Seeking to apply his expertise to the rapidly evolving Health Tech sector, he moved to Vietnam in 2019 to lead the Hello Health Group. As Country Manager, Paysant managed a team of 150, doubling company revenue and transforming the platform into Southeast Asia’s premier medical/health e-ecosystem and Health specialised communications agency, serving over 40 million unique users monthly.

Now based in Dubai, Paysant joins Momentum ME at a pivotal moment in the agency’s trajectory. His appointment signals a “step-up” in the agency’s regional ambitions. By joining a world-class team that currently partners with global giants such as Mars, Uber, Pepsi-Cola, Du, Carlsberg, MBRF,  and Unilever, Paysant is positioned to drive immediate impact.

Leveraging his deep expertise in commercial excellence, digital transformation, and integrated communications, he is focused on evolving Momentum from its strong Activation, BTL, and FMCG roots into a dominant, full-service partner for brands seeking integrated, data/ROI-driven growth throughout the Middle East.
