Vertigo Films has welcomed on board Maha Moussa, who joins the production house as a partner.

Vertigo Films was founded two years ago by Rawad El Hachem and Adnan Sharawi, and claims to have since quickly made its mark as a boutique production house, known for its passion for short-form and entertaining films.

The boutique production house claims Moussa’s wealth of experience, creative vision and her new arrival on the Vertigo Films team signal an exciting new chapter in its journey.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Maha Moussa as a partner at Vertigo Films,” said Sharawi. “Having worked with her before, I’ve seen firsthand her creativity, vision, and the incredible energy she brings to every project.”

Sharawi also commented on Moussa’s professional qualities, emphasising how her addition to the team aims to strengthen operations at Vertigo.

“She is humble, always goes the extra mile, and her artistic touch completes the circle here at Vertigo alongside Rawad.

Female leadership is key for us, and I’m confident Maha will do amazing things as we continue pushing boundaries together,” Sharawi said.

Maha has a dynamic background, having spent three years at TikTok, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the production department, developing educational and branded content on both regional and global scale.

After TikTok, she took her talents to Shahid as a creative producer, where she followed her passion for long-form films, leading pitches and collaborating with creative directors to bring her bold ideas to life.

Vertigo’s co-founder, El Hachem, shed light on why Moussa made the right fit for the production agency.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Maha in several roles over the years—first collaborating as freelancers, then hiring her on my team at an agency, and later working as her client at TikTok,” he said.

“I couldn’t be any prouder to be partnering with her and Adnan at Vertigo. The journey of the three of us has always been remarkable, with each of us complementing the others’ strengths. I look forward to the exciting future we will build together,” El Hachem added.

Finally, on her new appointment, Moussa said, “I’m thrilled to be joining Vertigo Films at such an exciting time.”

“This is a company that values creativity, innovation, and pushing boundaries in storytelling—everything I’m passionate about. I look forward to working with the team to continue creating impactful content that resonates with audiences, both regionally and globally.

“Together, we’re ready to take Vertigo Films to new heights in the production world,” she concluded.
