The Coffee Club partners with Emirati artist for 10th anniversary

The Coffee Club has created a new ceramic mug collection called ‘Bean Here’ to celebrate a decade of brewing coffee in the UAE. The Australian cafe created the line to celebrate its tenth year of operations in the UAE.

The collection was designed by Khaled Al Jaberi, an Emirati artist, who is locally celebrated for his contributions to cartooning, comedy, literature, and cinema.

The ‘Bean Here’ collection is a tribute to the iconic landmarks of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. From the grandeur of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque to the dynamic Burj Khalifa, the new mugs are a colourful and vibrant reflection of the UAE’s multicultural tapestry.

Khaled Al Jaberi’s artistic vision and talent bring each mug to life, capturing the essence of these beloved cities.

“This collaboration with The Coffee Club has been an incredible opportunity to showcase the beauty and diversity of Abu Dhabi and Dubai through my art,” he said.

“It’s been a joy to see my work come to life on these mugs, representing the unique cultural blend that defines our region. I’m honoured to be part of this project and to contribute to creating meaningful experiences for coffee lovers in the UAE and across the world.”

Liwa Minor, a joint venture between Al Nasser Holdings of Abu Dhabi and Minor Food Group of Thailand, owns The Coffee Club’s UAE division.

On the collaboration with Khaled Al Jaberi, the CEO of Liwa Minor, Charl Badenhorst, said, “We’re thrilled to announce Liwa Minor’s dedication to local business support and collaboration with a renowned local artist for our unique retail collection.”

Charl said fostering positive relationships and meaningful experiences is at the heart of everything Liwa Minor does.

“Our growth in the Middle East, culminating in The Coffee Club’s upcoming 10-year celebration, is a testament to our commitment to excellence.”

The Coffee Club encourages residents to display the mugs on their kitchen cabinets or gift them as stunning souvenirs of the UAE.

The collection includes 330-ml mugs priced at AED 45 each and a two-piece espresso mug set for AED 59, all featuring the artist’s signature.
