PR Account Executive – Cicero and Bernay
Account executives work within a wider team to promote the profile of their clients and handle day-to-to PR duties for their team. Their activities may vary but generally encompass acting as a media liaison with the goal of generating positive news coverage for client accounts; fielding/filtering communications from clients and the media; and assisting their service team in any capacity required in order to fulfil company objectives. Their main focus is to maintain two-way communication between their service team, clients and the media and to execute instructions from management.
Purpose of the job:
· To assist the client servicing team in the development and implementation of effective strategic communication activities and successful management of all aspects of client(s) account management.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
· Assist the team in research for and the development of creative and strategic communication activities for existing clients and potential client proposals.
· To help in creating detailed critical paths for efficient scheduling and management of communication activities and events.
Editorial
· Research stories and write initial press release drafts based on information provided in client briefs.
· Assist team in conceiving ideas for client editorial coverage.
· Research information for the development of required client documents i.e. feature articles, case studies, expert columns etc.
· Assist team in building and developing content plans and calendars for social media accounts.
Media Liaison
· Develop, where required, and regularly update media lists.
· Distribute press releases to appropriate media and follow up as required.
· Promote press release stories to the media and encourage corresponding interviews with the client.
· Field incoming media enquiries and direct to the relevant Account Manager.
Media Monitoring
· Monitor media (Arab and/or English), including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media pages, newswires and blogs for news of relevance to the agency’s clients.
· Liaise with third-party media monitoring coverage for accurate monitoring and clipping of client coverage.
· Alert Line Manager of news/happenings in media relevant to client account/business/industry.
· To collate, analyse and evaluate client media coverage
Event Management
· Assist the team in the organisation and management of events including press conferences, sales events, gala dinners, inauguration events etc.
· Liaise with and coordinate photographers/videographers etc for events.
· Distribute invitations and receive RSVPs as required.
· Assist in sourcing third party suppliers for event requirements.
· Prepare and collate materials for press kits.
· Manage media registration and press kit distribution at events as required.
Administration
· Prepare client reports as required i.e. weekly status reports, quarterly status reports, meeting reports, coverage reports etc.
· Distribute the above reports to relevant audiences i.e. colleagues, clients, and third parties.
General
· Build constructive professional relationships and networks with colleagues and the media.
· Assist the team in the implementation of contracted PR programmes.
Execute any related tasks that may be required to assist the team in the effective management of client accounts.

Stong Media relations
Arabic speaking is a must
