Courage Awards

The International Women Board of Directors (IWBD) – which is an initiative of On Board Women dedicated to bolstering women leaders in the boardroom and championing gender equality and female leadership on a global scale – has officially launched the IWBD Courage Awards 2026.

The IWBD Courage Awards is designed to encourage purpose-driven women leaders on their potential to ignite change, make a new move and accelerate their leadership board journeys.

The awards build on the theme of the upcoming IWBD Women in the Boardroom Annual Summit 2026, which is courage. In its official guidance for the awards, the IWBD stated that it chose the theme of courage because it is perceived as the spark that turns wisdom into momentum, and turns collective dialogue into tangible results in the boardroom.

Dina Amin, Chief Marketing Officer Middle East, Africa, Russia and Turkey, Google Cloud, added, “I’ve truly enjoyed being a part of IWBD. The ability to connect with a diverse group of leaders in a flexible format makes our meetings incredibly insightful.”
