Since joining our team, Abhi has propelled our social media efforts to new heights. His enhancements of our internal processes and creativity has led to an increase in output on behalf of our clients that is clear to see. This has, in turn, led to our improvements across the entirety of our social media team, as Abhi is always keen and on-hand to teach and train others for their own respective progress. A true team player who has quickly become a fulcrum of the agency social media team, I truly hope Abhi is recognised for his expertise in his field.
Career highlights
During the last five years, I have been fortunate to work with distinguished brands in the region, encompassing diverse marketing verticals such as Destination & Event Marketing, F&B Marketing, and Retail Marketing. I have collaborated with renowned brands such as Virgin Radio, Reebok, Live Nation, Meraas & Merex mall destinations, and Expo 2020 Dubai. One of my recent accomplishments was overseeing the social media marketing campaign for Maroon 5’s tour in the Middle East. Our comprehensive social media strategy led to a sell-out show, propelled by link clicks and online POS purchases.
Guiding principles
I evaluate three critical components for social media success: brand narrative, content strategy, and community engagement. Fundamentally, I examine the brand’s story and goals, such as the target audience, the problem being solved, and the value proposition. These insights inform the content strategy.
Ultimately, community engagement is paramount; establishing a genuine connection with the audience is key to thriving on social media.
Side hustle
Last year, I launched an exciting Airbnb experience that takes visitors to some of Dubai’s most unique spots to shoot Instagram reels and TikTok videos. The experience allows me to connect with people from all over the world, while also earning some additional income. It’s been an incredibly fun time, and I feel grateful for the chance to share Dubai’s beauty with others while indulging in their passion for social media.
