Augustus Media has announced the appointment of two new leadership positions with Nashwa Khalil joining as managing director of Augustus Egypt and Ghada El Emam as client services director, Augustus UAE.

Khalil has more than 16 years of experience in the media and content industry within the Egyptian market, along with a couple of other markets like North West Africa, Turkey and the Gulf Region. She worked with different teams and clients along the years, like Coca Cola, L’Oreal, Etisalat & others within media agencies, TV channels, digital production agencies and client side with P&G.
She studied holds a degree in Mass Communication and Broadcasting Journalism as a major back at AUC.
Reporting to CEO, Richard Fitzgerald, her role will be to oversee the Lovin Cairo offering, the Smashi TV content from Egypt, and the Augustus Media tech development output from that market.
El Emam has a vast experience of 10 years in advertising; with specialisation in client servicing, strategy and content management. She worked at Kijamii in Cairo for more than 8 years and left as a business unit director leading a team of more than 15 members for the social and editorial communication of Netflix MENA, Deezer MENA, Storytel MENA, and other entertainment brands based in Saudi and UAE.
Her role was overlooking the communication strategies, digital planning, creative production, managing and coordinating digital buying campaigns, social listening activities, and others . She also led different local/International clients; Vodafone, Huawei, IKEA, Philips, DHL, Peugeot and many more across different industries.
Ghada has relocated to Dubai and will be responsible for client service for the UAE market across Lovin Dubai, Lovin Abu Dhabi, Lovin Rak, Lovin Sharjah, Smashi Tv and Odeum content studio.
