United Arab Emirates boutique agency theAdkitchen has landed the integrated account for Abu Dhabi Airports Group following a six-way pitch.
The agency will cover duty free and airport branding, corporate communications, internal employee communication and ultimately the launch of the airports new Midfield terminal, scheduled for opening in December 2017.
The account was held for the last five years by Dubai-based independent agency Face to Face, which also competed in the four-month-long pitch. Farid Matta, Adkitchen creative director, said: “The three most important elements of our proposed work for Abu Dhabi airport were to provide campaigns that were completely aligned with our strategy throughout, holistic thinking that was fully integrated and relevant in the right medium.”
Fady Karim, agency founder and chief executive, added: “We’re extremely pleased with the results of the pitch, both as a test of the dedication, determination and focus of the team, and as a great start to the new 2016 and what we hope will be a long and successful relationship.”
