HAVAS Middle East has announced four promotions in an effort to sharpen the agency network’s focus on convergence, collaboration and cross-disciplinary growth, with a strategic emphasis on Saudi Arabia.

Alejandro Fischer has been named Chief Strategy Officer, Fabio Silveira has been appointed Chief Growth Officer, Carlos Nadal steps into the role of Managing Director for HAVAS Creative UAE and Oliver El Obeid takes on the title of Vice President – Human Resources.

The appointments come as the group aims to evolve into a fully integrated communications network across the region.

Building on its ‘Village’ model, HAVAS’ Converged.AI strategy and operating system aims to drive global collaboration. This includes the connection of talent, capabilities, platforms and expertise through data, technology and AI.

The network claims its new leadership will accelerate this connected ecosystem across creative, media, PR, and commerce, driving unified strategies that deliver both business results and cultural relevance.

“This marks an important moment for us at HAVAS Middle East. As a fully integrated group, our strength lies in thinking and delivering as one, bringing together the best in creative, media, PR and commerce,” said Dany Naaman, CEO of HAVAS Middle East.

In terms of the new leadership’s upgraded roles, Chief Strategy Officer, Alejandro Fischer will lead strategic planning across the HAVAS Middle East network, working closely with client leads and practice heads to deliver insight-led work rooted in local understanding. HAVAS claims he brings a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and brand storytelling, resulting in a disciplined yet creative approach to strategy that aims to guide the group’s next phase of growth.

Fabio Silveira, HAVAS Middle East’s new Chief Growth Officer will drive the group’s integrated growth strategy across functions. His mandate includes identifying opportunities across the network with a strong focus on Saudi Arabia – a key market for HAVAS Middle East. He has also been tasked with forging new client partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, developing talent and unlocking opportunities in the region’s evolving communications landscape.

Carlos Nadal will strengthen the link between the creative function and the wider ‘Village’ as Managing Director of Havas Creative UAE. A key member of the Havas Village for over seven years, he has worked across creative, media and PR to deliver integrated solutions for a diverse client base. Known for his collaborative approach, Nadal will align talent and strategy to deliver unified brand experiences and elevate creative standards in the UAE.

Finally, spearheading the group’s culture-first agenda, Oliver El Obeid takes on the role of Vice President – Human Resources. He will lead capability building and people development across HAVAS Middle East, ensuring the group remains the employer of choice for top talent while fostering an environment of innovation and inclusion.

“Alejandro, Fabio, Carlos and Oliver each bring deep regional experience and distinct strengths to the leadership team, united by a shared vision of integration, impact and growth,” Naaman said on the promotions at HAVAS Middle East.

All in all, HAVAS Middle East claims these promotions are a vital part of the group’s shift towards hyper-personalisation and human-led creativity under its global Converged.AI model.
