Virtue Worldwide, Vice Group’s advertising agency, has announced the appointment of John Davenport as the Executive Creative Director for UAE, London and Singapore.
The appointment is part of the agency’s efforts to strengthen its creative capabilities across the Middle East region, alongside London and Singapore.
Davenport first officially joined the advertising agency in January, but the new appointment has expanded his geographic and technical remit.
As part of his new remit, Davenport will be responsible for building on creative product and storytelling and the delivering growth for both clients and Virtue Worldwide in key markets including the UAE, London and Singapore.
Davenport will report to Chris Garbutt, Global President, Virtue Worldwide.
Davenport brings more than 25 years of experience to the group, and was most recently the Chief Creative Officer for WPP’s Ogilvy in Hong Kong. Prior to that, he served as CCO at Havas.
Davenport’s appointment is part of Virtue Worldwide’s plans to support its growth around the world, alongside other appointments globally.
