Dubai-based strategy and creative consultancy kobza+collective has entered into a highly specialised joint venture with Vienna-based agency The Guardians of Social Media to launch a social media and digital consulting agency called The Guardians of Social Media UAE.

The Guardians of Social Media UAE’s service portfolio ranges from social media marketing, content production, social advertising and community management to website development, strategic consulting and workshops.

Commenting on the launch of the joint venture, Marc Kobza, Founder and CEO of kobza+collective, said, “The demand for social media expertise in Dubai is growing enormously – but many agencies rely on outsourcing to countries where work is cost-efficient but not of high quality. With the new agency, we are bringing first-class Austrian expertise directly to the region and guarantee the highest quality, strategy and creativity on site.”

A joint venture with bundled expertise, the new agency is backed by two strong partners: kobza+collective, which has already established itself in Dubai with strategic brand consulting and communication expertise, and The Guardians of Social Media, one of Austria’s leading social media agencies, which has proven its digital excellence with clients such as KFC and Sky Sports.

Marco Simoner, CEO of The Guardians of Social Media Vienna, said, “Our many years of experience in the social media sector combined with kobza+collective’s strategic communication and brand experience makes The Guardians of Social Media UAE a unique player in the market. Our goal is to establish social media at the highest level in the region.”

The leaders chose Dubai as the location for the joint venture because they consider it an international hub for digital innovation.

Kobza said, “The choice of Dubai as a location is no coincidence: the dynamic economy, the rapidly growing digital sector and the increasing demand for professional social media solutions make the metropolis the ideal starting point for the new company.”

He concluded, “Dubai offers an inspiring, entrepreneurial atmosphere and is a leading global centre for innovation. Our aim is to be a strong partner for companies in the region and to play an active role in shaping the digital transformation.”
