
Sunsilk, a part of Unilever Arabia, has unveiled its ‘Everything is Under Control’ TikTok series for Ramadan, taking a fresh approach to Ramadan content by blending humour with the relatable moments that many face during the month.
The eight-episode series – scripted by creative and production agency Team Reactivate MENA, starring Arabic influencer and content creator Rana Al Khodari, and brought to life by media agency PHD, influencer agency By Niggi and Director Hesham Afifi – has already caught the attention of the brand’s audience, earning millions of views with its snackable, engaging content.
The series follows Sara, a Gen Z character played by Al Khodari, as she navigates various Ramadan situations with the help of Sunsilk, which plays a key role in every episode. The challenge for the creative team at Team Reactivate was to make the brand’s integration feel natural.

“We needed to tap into local insights in the Saudi market to make the content relatable and relevant,” said Sherif El Gabry, Creative Strategist at Team Reactivate. “The tricky part was ensuring Sunsilk felt like a natural part of the story without it coming off as an ad. We wanted to make Sunsilk the hero of the series, helping Sara navigate everyday Ramadan moments with hair on point.”
As a result, the agency decided to create content specifically for TikTok, with its Gen Z audience in mind. The team designed each episode to be native to the platform, using TikTok trends and effects, keeping it fun and engaging for the target demographic.
From quirky family dynamics to relatable situations like preparing for unexpected guests or last-minute Eid outfit struggles, the series brings humor to everyday Ramadan moments.

Rania AlGethami, another Creative Strategist at Team Reactivate, added, “We wanted to reflect authentic Ramadan moments where Sunsilk seamlessly fits into the family’s daily chaos and celebration. Our goal was to blend fun, family, and real-life moments, and show how Sunsilk can give you endless hairstyle opportunities.”
The integration of Sunsilk in the series goes beyond simple product placement.
In each episode, Sara uses Sunsilk products, whether she’s styling her hair for a family gathering or while claiming to make her own Sunsilk leave-on cream. The product becomes a seamless part of Sara’s journey, helping her be ready for whatever the day brings.
With a clear objective of increasing brand equity and driving engagement, “Everything is Under Control” is becoming a viral hit among viewers, providing relatable content while staying true to the spirit of Ramadan.
