Skechers has brought cool to the back-to-school season by promoting clutter breaking conversations directly with the primary end consumers, school-going children.
The brand partnered with LPS, an independent social and digital experiential agency, to launch the 360 campaign for the back-to-school season, spotlighting its latest ‘Kids Footwear’ collection.
Led by video storytelling, the campaign uses new age vertical video, first camera movements and frames along with different consumer personas and their aspirations.
“The aim was to produce a video led campaign that not only told a compelling story but also highlighted the diverse and stylish designs, further solidifying Skechers as the go-to brand for the new school year,” said Aasim Shaik, Managing Director at LPS.
The agency said it took the lead in end-to-end campaign ideation and execution, leveraging its deep expertise in integrated campaigns and video storytelling. The result was a visually captivating narrative that anchored the entire campaign.
“LPS’ creative vision and high-quality production have brought our Hajj and back-to-school collections to life in a truly impactful way,” stated a spokesperson from the Skechers’ marketing team.
As part of a broader 360 marketing strategy, the campaign was strategically distributed across key platforms, ensuring broad reach and deep engagement throughout the Middle East. The creative visuals from the video were also adapted into artwork for billboards and digital screens, amplifying the campaign’s presence across various high-traffic locations.
LPS claims the campaign has made a significant impact with both kids and their parents, capturing the brand’s vibrant energy and the excitement of a new school year. This strategic effort drove substantial awareness and enthusiasm for the latest collection, reinforcing Skechers’ position as a top choice for back-to-school footwear.
