Qatar National Bank (QNB) has launched a new 360-degree campaign featuring renowned Egyptian actor Ahmed Helmy.
The campaign humorously tackles the experience of receiving unsolicited financial advice from friends, family and even strangers, while positioning QNB as the trusted financial partner in an unpredictable world.
The campaign marks the third major collaboration between QNB and the creative teams at Pitch Marketing and Done Creative Company.
It showcases Ahmed Helmy as himself, navigating a series of amusing scenarios where he is bombarded with questionable advice from everyone around him.
The campaign was produced by Boomtown Productions and is their second collaboration with the client and agency. The film campaign was directed by Kean Pearce Shaw.
QNB builds momentum with a multi-platform rollout
The campaign kicked off with a series of teaser videos released on QNB’s social media channels a week prior to the official launch.
These teasers served as a prelude to the main television commercial (TVC), highlighting the humorous buildup of unsolicited advice directed at Helmy.
Once the TVC debuted, additional content followed across multiple channels, including digital, social media and on-ground activations.
On social media, the focus turned to banking security, leveraging Helmy’s comedic flair to emphasise the importance of staying vigilant against dubious advice and situations.
This approach aligned with QNB’s commitment to providing secure, reliable financial solutions to its customers.
The 360-degree campaign aims to reinforces QNB’s dedication to innovation and customer-centric solutions, making financial matters simple, secure and stress-free.
