Pinterest picks Farimah Moeini as first hire in the MENA region

Moeini will lead market development and work closely with Pinterest’s regional sales partner DMS to help advertisers tap into Pinterest’s high-intent audience. She will work with brands to drive successful outcomes utilising Pinterest's full funnel platform.

Pinterest, a leader in visual search and discovery,  has appointed Farimah Moeini as Head of Sales Partnerships, Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the company’s first employee in the region.

In this new role, Moeini will lead market development and work closely with Pinterest’s regional sales partner DMS to help advertisers tap into Pinterest’s high-intent audience. She will work with brands to drive successful outcomes utilising Pinterest’s full funnel platform.

Based in Dubai, Moeini brings more than 17 years of digital media experience, with leadership roles across Smartly, Snap, and Yahoo in MENA.

Most recently, she served as Regional Director at Smartly, where she grew the company’s MENA presence and shaped go-to-market plans with key platform partners including Snap, Meta, Google and Amazon Ads.

Prior to Smartly, she spent nearly seven years at Snap, joining the company as their second hire in the region, and leaving the business as Head of Industry, MENA, managing a portfolio of enterprise brands.
