Nissan’s flagship SUV, the Patrol, returned this year with a fresh launch campaign that speaks to both its legacy and forward-thinking design. Produced in partnership with Mint MENA, TBWA/RAAD, and Rush Films, the campaign includes two distinct elements: a stylised photo shoot highlighting the Patrol’s iconic design and a walkaround film that brings the car’s advanced features to life.

Positioned as a premium, technologically advanced vehicle that honours its roots, the Nissan Patrol’s core characteristics are the creative foundation for the work, according to Rush Films.

The campaign aimed to capture the Nissan Patrol’s unique blend of heritage and modernity, resonating with its audience by showcasing its elegance and advanced features.

Both the photoshoot and the walkaround film took place in a studio environment, designed to enhance the Patrol’s luxury persona through abstract and refined visuals. Photographer Tracey Dai led the photoshoot, capturing a series of carefully crafted shots that highlight the vehicle’s premium look and feel.

With angles that reveal intricate details, Dai’s photography, coupled with Recom’s post-production and CGI work, resulted in a striking visual experience.

The walkaround film, directed by Joachim Zunke, extended this approach by guiding viewers through a sleek, visually immersive journey of the Patrol’s features. Shot within the same abstract setting, the film captures the essence of luxury and sophistication that defines the Patrol’s latest iteration.

This campaign for the Nissan Patrol effectively integrates the vehicle’s legacy with its forward-thinking technology, creating a visually cohesive and resonant introduction that appeals to the evolving automotive market.
