Influencer.com, an influencer marketing company, has announced the opening of its new Dubai office as it expands its operations into the MENA region, along with the appointment of Salah Bakri as Head of Client Services, MENA.
Having built strong relationships with clients in the region including TikTok MENA, Dubai Tourism, Qatar Tourism, the Qatar World Cup, and Visit Tunisia, this new base cements Influencer.com’s commitment to further improving client relationships in the area. Influencer.com has also worked closely with many creators in the region, including world-renowned YouTuber Mo Vlogs, and this base will further improve relationships with local creators, enabling Influencer.com’s global clients to reach a targeted local audience.
With year-on-year growth of 450% in 2021, Influencer.com expects to grow the MENA team to double figures within the next 12 months, with active hires currently including Creative Strategists, Campaign Managers, and Account Directors, creating a number of new jobs and opportunities. As the first hire, Salah Bakri joins Influencer.com as Head of Client Services for the MENA region. Salah joins Influencer.com with extensive experience, having previously worked at FP7 McCann, H+K, TBWA, and more. Salah will be reporting directly to Nik Speller, Group Business Director, and will be tasked with increasing awareness of the business in the region and growing the regional team. Influencer.com’s fixed presence in the area will also see its co-founders Ben Jeffries and Caspar Lee spending more time in the region, meeting clients, engaging in speaking opportunities, and attending events. Past speaking engagements include VidCon Abu Dhabi and ITP Live.
“MENA is one of the fastest-growing areas for digital and influencer marketing. With many of our clients active in the region, and many others looking to target the huge audiences we see there. Opening a Dubai office will provide us with an incredible strategic opportunity,” says Nik Speller, Group Business Director. “There is also a huge wealth of local talent and we are incredibly excited to bring on someone with Salah’s skills and experience to lead our expansion there.”
