Hungerstation teases an out of the box mascot

Saudi-based delivery service Hungerstation has adopted a new mascot for the brand.

The new mascot features an animated box character in Hungerstation’s bright yellow colour with the letter ‘H’ engraved on the side.

The animated box character was first launched through a teaser campaign across social media and out of home campaigns.

The visuals saw a box without the Hungerstation logo teasing saying that wherever you are I will come to you in Arabic.

The mascot was officially revealed across the brand’s social media channels on the 7th of January 2024.

It was also accompanied by the saying “Before Everyone” in Arabic, indicating that Hungerstation will come swiftly when people are hungry before everyone.

The mascot seems to be a new addition to the delivery platform’s brand identity. After the its launch, the mascot has been used across most of the brand’s communications.

In a Linkedin post, Hungerstation’s Chief Marketing Officer also revealed a new set of stickers for the brand featuring the mascot.

Given the post’s caption, “2024 is going to be different”, we can only assume that there is more in store for the mascot and the delivery platform in the upcoming year.

Hungerstation’s big year in 2023

2023 was a big year for the brand, which saw the brand pick up the first ever Grand Prix for Saudi Arabia at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.

The brand won the Grand Prix for its Subconscious Order campaign. The campaign came to life in collaboration with the creative agency Wunderman Thompson Riyadh.

As part of the campaign, Hungerstation introduced a smart feature that allowed users to order food online by harnessing the power of their subconscious mind. The app recognised when the user scrolled for a long time and launched the subconscious ordering tool.
