Home Centre has taken an unexpected approach in its latest campaign, testing the promise of comfort from a lofty 13,000 feet in the air. In a grand display, a team of three professional skydivers aimed to land precisely on a 6ft x 5ft bed from Home Centre’s premium bedding collection, merging high-stakes excitement with the brand’s commitment to quality.

Through this campaign, Home Centre set out to distinguish itself in the home décor sector by making a bold statement about the indulgent comfort of its bedding. “The idea was to push the boundaries of how we communicate comfort by merging precision and indulgence in a bold, visual way,” shared the Home Centre team. “The skydiving stunt symbolised the precision and trust our customers expect from Home Centre while reinforcing our message that our beds provide an indulgent, luxurious experience, even in the most extreme circumstances. As the market leader, we’re always looking to create interesting, standout content that keeps us ahead in the home category.”

The campaign didn’t end with the stunt itself; Home Centre implemented an integrated, multichannel rollout across digital and social platforms. Exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, customer engagement initiatives, and user-generated content encouraged audiences to join the “landing in comfort” theme, designed to deepen customer connection with the Bed & Bath collection.

“Beyond the stunt itself, we’re amplifying the campaign’s reach across digital and social platforms,” the team noted. “This includes sharing exclusive behind-the-scenes content, launching customer engagement initiatives, and driving user-generated content centred around the theme of ‘landing in comfort.’”

To maximise engagement, the campaign included in-store promotions and influencer partnerships, solidifying Home Centre’s reputation as a market leader in both comfort and creative innovation. This strategic approach aligns with Home Centre’s marketing ethos of pushing creative boundaries in the home category while positioning the brand as a trendsetter and leader in comfort.

Home Centre aimed to create a memorable campaign that reinforced its market leadership while showcasing its commitment to comfort and innovation through the skydiving stunt.
