Empire Entertainment celebrates Bullet Train release

Brad Pitt and Bad Bunny star in Bullet Train.

Empire Entertainment celebrated the release of Bullet Train with Reel Cinemas and Muvi cinemas with a local campaign in Dubai.

The campaign featured two special projections on the facade of Burj Khalifa: Bullet train’s trailer and a message from Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny, who also stars in the film.

The film’s fun, cheeky and slightly mischievous character, Momomon made surprise appearances across the media offices in Dubai, promoting the release. Facilitated by ComCo MEA, the bright pink character rushed into the offices to distribute tickets to see the movie premiere the following night.

To further support the film’s premiere, experiential activations have been available for ‘commuters’ or film go-ers in the form of metro stop installations at Reel Cinemas, Vox Cinemas and Muvi Cinemas in the UAE and the KSA.

Users could then engage by navigating around the train with key elements taken from the movie, including visuals of the characters. Their journey on the train is amplified by introducing the ‘commuters’ to a fun game of finding the missing briefcase, which is inspired by the film’s key storyline.

Tumi Travel, the briefcase brand, supported the ‘the briefcase everyone is after’ 360 campaign. With an OOH takeover all over Dubai, store window takeover, digital activation and influencer content with Amro Maskoun and Anas Boukhash, Tumi sold out their 19-degree briefcase that was released in partnership with the movie.

Empire Entertainment is the exclusive theatrical distributor of rights for Sony Pictures, Fox Star India & Sony Pictures India in the Middle East, and also, the distributor for Bullet Train.
