Bio

David started working at Schneider Electric with an internship in Barcelona after graduating in Corporate Communications from Universitat de Barcelona.

After a year in a half, he took various positions regarding e-commerce,  project management, web design and spent 2 years leading Schneider Electric Iberian social media and paid media strategy. He was also appointed as Digital Manager for Iberia and led eCommerce before moving to Dubai. He is currently based in the UAE heading the Digital Customer Experience for the Middle East and Africa Zone.

Guiding principles

David’s guiding principle is resumed to two things: People and Sustainability. People are always the centre of an organization, and embracing differences, looking up for Diversity and assuring everyone’s safety is a must for all leaders. Now, in a fast-paced world with record-time challenges, sustainability needs to be the core of our attention and efforts in all the actions we take.

How has Covid-19 changed your job?

David’s Quote: ”Covid has changed my job in a great way. Digital Marketing was never seen as it is now from people and organizations, and the pandemic was the enabler to focus on digital, gain new business, expand our strategy to more channels and win stakeholders inside and outside of our organizations. Working from home challenges all leaders to a new approach where, once again, people is at the centre.”
