Lina, or as we call her, “Baby G”, is someone I’ve had the joy to see grow, from her AUD days as one of the sharpest creative minds on the block to her initial days in the industry here, and now at Leo Burnett Dubai. She has made an impact from the time she stepped in – winning Puma business, a host of Effies, and the Grand Prix for Effectiveness at Lynx, rapping songs at agency gatherings, tackling major brand challenges – and doing it all with a happy smile. She’s a star and is destined to shine brighter.

 

Career highlights

Lina is a Gen Z Arab strategist, born in Kuwait, raised in Dubai’s gleam, with Egyptian heritage in her genes. She has over 5 years of strategy experience and currently spearheading multiple projects at Leo Burnett including Pepsi, Ferrero, and Puma. She is an optimistic problem solver and embraces each task as an opportunity to stretch her limits and uncover innovative solutions. Her expertise has earned her global recognition from Cannes Lions, and regional recognition from Dubai Lynx, WARC and Effies. Her positivity and can-do spirit define her, and she strives to inspire all those she meets.

 

Guiding principles

My guiding principle is simple: I believe in perseverance. I keep pushing, listening, adjusting and researching until I see smiles on everyone’s faces in the room, and they’re eager to jump in and contribute ideas. That’s when I know we’ve struck gold and are onto something truly remarkable.

 

Side hustle

When I’m not digging into insights, you’ll find me in the recording booth, bringing commercials to life with my voice or chilling at the piano, jamming out sweet tunes.
