Nadine Ghossoub, CEO, Science & Sunshine: Steven is a passionate and ambitious adman. He is one of those suits that clients love because he is aggressive about brand building, and that creatives love because he fights for great ideas as much as they do. He looks after some of the agency’s biggest accounts and is heavily involved with new business development too.
Career highlights
Well, it all started randomly. I was a marketing executive for a second, then a social media executive for a minute. But because I am obsessed with sports and entertainment, I got drafted to S&S to start helping on global accounts like adidas and Netflix. I never expected to fall in love with advertising as quickly as I did, but it happened. It’s been a wild ride ever since and it’s getting wilder by the second. I don’t have any awards (yet) but you better believe I won’t stop until I have a few.
Guiding principles
To put in the same level of passion in both my work and personal life. You don’t have to work overtime to be successful.
Dream job
To run a successful agency of my own. I love adventures and challenges, and opening a small business and turning it into a success is what I aim to achieve.
Side hustle
I currently represent multiple Brazilian fashion retail brands in the Middle East and run a small online business. I usually plan my every step but, just like advertising, this was as random. A family member, residing in Brazil, proposed the idea and two years later our business is still growing.
