Video production has long been a mainstay of the advertising industry. But in the last few years alone we have moved a long way from the traditional 30-second TVC.
Social media generates a constant demand for video content, and today’s consumers expect it to be more entertaining, informative and engaging than ever.
So how do we as an industry answer the demand for lots of amazing content produced fast and efficiently?
Campaign’s February 27 Breakfast Briefing on video will address these questions and more. Industry experts – from clients, platforms, agencies and tech – will discuss and debate the challenges and opportunities presented by video in 2020.

09:05am: Keynote: The right video
A leading creative/agency talks about the planning and creative process for making videos. From short features to online 90-second spots to six-second pre-rolls, there’s a plethora of formats out there. Multiply that by the different types of client, the different KPIs of the ads and the different platforms the ads will run on and there are an awful lot of things to get right – or wrong. Our speaker will discuss how agencies and brands set about planning and creating the best video advertising that is both efficient and effective.
Keynote Speaker: Fadi Yaish | Founder and CCO, And Us.
09:20am: Panel 1: Who’s watching?
A panel representing publishers, agencies, platforms and tech looks at who is viewing video on what formats. From traditional television to interactive social media, how do viewer demographics break down, and how can we measure the reach and effectiveness of video ads. From pre-planning to gathering meaningful results, this panel will look at who is looking at video.

Hosted by Twitter, a panel of leading regional brands will discuss their aims for video advertising, and will focus on how they have used one platform to leverage their creative. What has worked for them, and where have they faced challenges? Twitter will introduce a new product for the first time in the region, its Promoted Trend Spotlight. This allows a 24-hour takeover of the Trends list on the platform using video. Brands will discuss their use of this and other Twitter features, as well as sharing insights into what brands look for in their video creative, media and results. Real-world use-cases will provide valuable guidance to fellow brands and agencies alike.
