By Jalaja Ramanunni

American fashion house Calvin Klein has launched a new campaign that celebrates the Middle East’s influencer community. Calvin Klein’s new campaign features three influencers from the region – Lana Albeik, Mohammed Alahbabi and Hala Abdullah.

Lana Albeik is a Palestinian-Syrian model and filmmaker based in Dubai. With her creative work, she expresses her interest in telling the story of her people. “I think being part of a community that creates and is present in the digital world allows us to have the starting flame for change,” Albeik shares. Mohammed Alahbabi, an Emirati content creator and digital influencer, uses his art to express himself through various mediums including painting and writing. Hala Abdulla is a Saudi fashion and beauty influencer.

The campaign was filmed in Dubai, UAE. It is rooted in pushing boundaries and telling personal stories and celebrating people who are empowering future generations with innovation and inclusivity. Dressed in Calvin Klein Jeans, the campaign cast highlights the diversity of the Middle Eastern diaspora and taps into the local artistic scene, which is booming with cultural and inventive initiatives. The campaign has been launched across the Middle East.

Calvin Klein launched its first Middle Eastern campaign in 2022.

Calvin Klein launched its global Spring 2023 campaign last month shot by renowned photographer duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The campaign features Blackpink’s Jennie, Kendall Jenner, FKA twigs, Michael B. Jordan and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
