Al Arabiya Network launches new podcast hub

The Al Arabiya Network podcast hub currently runs eight shows.

Media company Al Arabiya Network has announced the launch of its new podcast hub, Mazeej.

Catering to listeners of all adult ages, the podcast hub aims to move away from the traditional approach to offer a new style of podcast.

The new hub will host topics ranging from business and politics to arts and culture, health and wellness and sport.  The podcast will cater to the interests of a global Arab audience.

The Mazeej podcast hub will be supported by Al Arabiya Network journalists and presenters, including Nicole Tannoury, Layal Alekhtiar, Islam AlNajjar, and Hanan Al Masri.

The hub currently has eight shows, Masha’er, Jareema, Umm Al Qossas, Yeman, Khalf Al Jidar, Wa Ma’a Ba’ad, Sasat and Heewar Teejari. 

The science show Masha’er, hosted by Dr. Osama Al-Jamaa, will explore the intricacies of the human psychology.

Mohammed Alshaibani, a crime analyst, will narrate and analyse criminal cases of the past in the podcast Jareema. 

Umm Al Qossas will see Amro Zaki interview inspiring figures from Egyptian society to offer insights into their personal and professional journeys.

Focusing on the Arab people themselves, the series Yeman with Ahad Yaseen will share stories and testimonies from Yemenis while Khalf Al Jidar with Hanan Al Masri will capture the Palestinian experience through insightful interviews and testimonies.

Layal Alekhtiar-run podcast Wa Ma’a Ba’ad and Sasat with Nicole Tannoury will bring current news and updates to the hub.

Wa Ma’a Ba’ad will feature experts, specialists, analysts, and journalists examining the world’s current news stories and Sasat will host discussions with politicians and experts, documenting significant political events.

Finally, Heewar Teejari, hosted by Islam AlNajjar, will showcase interviews with the founders of commercial brands, highlighting moments, challenges, and valuable lessons in their lives.

Al Arabiya Network’s hub will also extend its reach beyond YouTube to social media platforms by creating highlights from the content.
