Tarek Nour Advertising has launched the National Bank of Egypt’s (NBE) latest nationwide awareness campaign, “A Call to All Egyptians… Protection is within your hand,” starring Egyptian actor Essam Omar in October 2025,
The campaign delivers a powerful message about cybersecurity, urging Egyptians to protect their bank accounts and personal data against growing digital scams, phishing attempts and fraud.
Now live across digital and outdoor channels, the campaign is building a national movement of awareness and protection.
Tarek Nour Advertising, in partnership with the National Bank of Egypt, is urging the public to stay alert against fraud and invites everyone to discover the full 360-degree campaign.
Production houses Butter Films, People You May Know and Vivid Studios also partnered in this campaign directed by Nader El Nakoury.
For years, the National Bank of Egypt has created campaigns to combat cybercrime. Yet, as scammers adopt newer techniques and fraud cases continue to rise, the need has risen for a fresh, relevant and highly engaging approach to combat cybercrime.
To cut through the noise, Tarek Nour Advertising created a culturally rooted, folkloric campaign that’s as simple as it is powerful.
Built on mass relatability, the idea turns safety instructions into an unforgettable anthem.
A catchy tune inspired by Egyptian folklore and brought to life by Essam Omar’s iconic “call to all Egyptians from the Bank of Egyptians”, made fraud awareness not just clear, but instantly memorable.
“Cybersecurity can be complex, and instead of creating a campaign that tends to feel technical, we decided to simplify the message using a format Egyptians connect with instantly, that being music. We used folkloric rhythm and memorable lyrics to make cyber safety easy to understand and act upon,” said Ahmed Hany, Creative Director, Tarek Nour Advertising.

Leveraging Essam Omar’s rising popularity, the campaign follows him across different Egyptian settings and everyday scenarios, emphasising that everyone, across generations and backgrounds, is at risk if they don’t stay alert online.
In less than two weeks, the campaign gained strong momentum, sparking conversations nationwide and capturing attention across platforms.
