Car and choreography in kinetic symmetry in the latest short film for the latest Defender. The Film House created the Land Rover Defender film for Alfardan Premier Motors in Qatar.
The Film House Director and EP, Omar Khalifa: “What started out as a spec idea became something larger thanks to the Marketing team at Alfardan.
“Car brands here don’t traditionally need high-end films as they inherit them from outside, regionally or internationally. But there’s a sense the tide is shifting with Qatar wanting to stamp its own geographic identity on these brand films.
“First question I kept getting was ‘where was that shot?’. No better feeling than saying it was right here in Qatar.”
Joining forces with dancer Nicole Nyemi-Tei from Brava Studio in Doha, the ad celebrates the invisible energy, power and control that resides between human and machine.
The Film House is an international production company in Doha.
