SRMG has launched SRMG Media Solutions (SMS), a new media sales and solutions company designed to offer advertisers access to integrated, data-driven advertising strategies across SRMG’s growing media portfolio. The launch marks the evolution of Al Khaleejiah, SRMG’s longstanding commercial arm, into a next-generation platform aimed at delivering targeted, cross-platform campaigns.

The new company will serve as the exclusive media representative for SRMG’s media brands such as Asharq News, Asharq Business with Bloomberg, Arab News, Al Eqtisadiah, Hia, Sayidaty, Billboard Arabia, Manga Arabia, and Thmanyah. SRMG Media Solutions will offer access to audiences across digital, print, TV, social, and audio, in addition to branded experiences and IPs such as Hia Hub and the Billboard Arabia Music Awards.

According to SRMG, the new entity will leverage first-party data, AI-powered segmentation, and proprietary AdTech tools to develop personalised, measurable campaigns. The group reports a global reach of over 170 million users.

Jomana R. Alrashid, CEO of SRMG, described the launch as a strategic shift. “The launch of SMS represents a pivotal moment for both SRMG and the media industry. I take great pride in the legacy built with Al Khaleejiah, and I’m excited to see how it will evolve with SMS to better meet the needs of modern digital audiences. Our strategic approach, combining SRMG’s unrivalled reach with data-driven precision, ensures that SMS is not just another media sales house, but a game-changer in the advertising space,” she said.

Ziad Moussa, Managing Director at SRMG Media Solutions, added: “SMS is transforming advertising through AI-driven audience segmentation, real-time analytics, and first-party data insights. By integrating digital, audio, TV, print, and experiential platforms, we empower brands to execute seamless, high-impact campaigns.”

The launch comes amid strong growth in the regional digital advertising market. According to IAB MENA, digital ad spend in the region grew by 13.6 per cent in 2023, surpassing $6 bn for the first time. Video advertising continues to lead the charge, supported by rising internet penetration, a young digital-first demographic, and the expansion of e-commerce across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the wider GCC.
