Seven Media has expanded its international operations with the opening of a new global hub in London, adding to its growing network of partner relationships across the globe under Seven International.

The launch of Seven International also aims to challenge the typical growth trend in the region, as a fiercely independent agency that was first founded in the UAE before pursuing international expansion.

Since launching in the UAE in 2010, the marketing and communications agency has delivered award-winning campaigns for major public and private sector organisations in the MENA region. In the last seven years, the group’s embrace of a more integrated model saw the launch of Seven Studios and Seven Digital, widening its offering to include 360-degreee creative, world-class video production, social media, influencer, and digital media services.

Matt Slater, Founder and Co-Owner of Seven, said: “We have always been very proud of the work we have done in telling UAE and GCC stories on the global stage, as well as delivering award-winning campaigns for international brands into our region.”

To lead the new London office, Jim Selman has been appointed as Managing Director, Seven International. He has previously held senior roles at Freuds and more recently at Allison Worldwide.

“With the appointment of Jim, the establishment of a London hub and a global network, we can activate important campaigns for leading organisations and brands across a wider geographic footprint better than ever before. We believe that 2026 is shaping up to be a monumental year for Seven,” he added.

Selman brings deep multi-market experience and a global partner network that will help to scale Seven’s existing international capability as the agency looks to unlock further growth potential in important communications markets around the world.

On his appointment he said: “Seven Media’s decision to expand further on the international stage is a natural progression for an agency that has gone from strength to strength, working with some of the biggest brands both in the Middle East and across the globe.”

“As more and more organisations based in MENA expand globally and international companies enter the region, London has become the strategic gateway for a London-UAE axis that supports growth in both directions.”
