Following in the footsteps of their sports tournament promotions such as the IV Crown Showdown, Riyadh Season has released another trailer for its next spectacle, the Six Kings Slam tennis tournament, a landmark tournament in its 2024 calendar.
Conceptualised by BigTime Creative Shop and brought to life by LA-based director duo Tania Verduzco and Adrián Pérez, also known as Los Pérez, and production house Truffle Films, the trailer features six of the sport’s top players: Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Holger Rune, and Jannick Sinner.

The film Call of the Kings begins with three shadowy messengers traversing a mysterious underground location deep beneath the Arabian desert in search of a secret chamber. Once they break in, the messengers initiate an ancient ritual. Thus, igniting a mystical call signal (in the form of a fiery tennis ball) that rockets out into the world to where the players are, summoning them to a battle for the throne in Riyadh.
Viewers are then transported to different locations around the world, where each tennis star faces unique challenges reflective of their distinct playing styles. Nadal, known as the king of clay, faces obstacles tied to his mastery of the surface, while Djokovic demonstrates his mental strength by stopping a speeding ball with sheer focus. These cinematic sequences build to a grand finale, where all six players come together at Riyadh’s iconic Kingdom Arena.
Call of the Kings aims to break away from traditional sports marketing by blending action-adventure with the high stakes of a global tennis tournament.
From start to finish, the film maintains a sense of urgency and excitement, drawing audiences into the narrative while aiming to reflect the grand ambitions of Riyadh Season.
The Six Kings Slam tournament will take place from October 16th to 19th in Riyadh.
