In conversation with Campaign Middle East on its ‘On The Record’ podcast, Kaavyanjali Prasad, an adtech and martech expert and the Search and Growth Manager at EmiratesNBD, discusses the growing importance of founder-led marketing for leaders of small and medium enterprises.
“From a marketers perspective, there are three to four key laterals to keep an eye on, including brand narrative, brand objectives, KPIs and KRAs, and storytelling. With personal branding and founder-led marketing things are a little different,” Prasad explained.
She then goes on to explain the changes that she has observed within the digital marketing landscape due to advancements in technology, and offers insights on challenges worth keeping an eye out for in the months to come.
Prasad also shares opinions on the need for both brands and founders who are the faces of small and medium enterprises to prioritise authenticity and focus on their brand vision, mission, and genuine storytelling.
“Founder-led marketing will impact your bottom line if you’re a small to business owner, and you’ll be able to track the conversion. This will mean truly understanding the company’s brand mission and weave that into your personal brand narrative, where your able to talk about what matters to the brand, but with your personal touch.”
Prasad also discusses how AI is not only being used to enhance creatives and copy, and speed up the gap between ideation and implementation, but also to enhance the impact and effectiveness of the content being shared.
