Nissan Middle East has announced the arrival of its new X Trail with a digital video campaign, comprising a teaser and reveal.
Dubai-based Beyond 190 handled the campaign, and the shoots were executed in Salalah, Oman.
The teaser captured the car breaking through the ground to the surface on an X-shaped platform, in the middle of a mountainous region. It adopted the theme #TheOneToFollow.
The full film revealed in end-September features the car rising from the depths of the earth and traversing myriad locales including beaches and desert sands, while its features are highlighted. Towards the end of the film, it comes to a halt in front of a stretch of urban highrises. It ends with the message, ‘The all new Nissan X Trail has arrived in the Middle East’.
According to Nissan Middle East, the video was created for the purpose of digital and social platforms to create awareness about the X-Trail. The brand’s challenge was that although the car was known, it ranked low on familiarity. The campaign was to back the ‘all new model’ change.
