Nayla Tueni, the Chief Executive Officer and Editor in Chief at Annahar Media Group – MENAThe Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, taking place 22–26 June 2026, has announced the line-up for the Dan Wieden Titanium Lions Jury, and for the first time in Cannes Lions history, a marketer from Lebanon has been chosen as a jury member on the Cannes Lions’ Dan Wieden Titanium Lions Jury.
Nayla Tueni, the Chief Executive Officer and Editor in Chief at Annahar Media Group – MENA, has been selected as one of the jury members and remains the only marketer from the MENA region on the Dan Wieden Titanium Lions Jury.
Annahar is a leading Arabic-language daily newspaper published in Lebanon, which recently, in partnership with IMPACT BBDO, launched the regionally renowned ‘Untaught History Edition’ campaign. This campaign presented pivotal events in modern Lebanese history that have previously never made it into the chapters of school textbooks. Less than a week ago, the campaign was recognised as a winner at The Clios Awards.
At the time of the campaign launch, Nayla Tueni, Editor-in-Chief, Annahar had said, “We have always said that Lebanon cannot move forward without confronting its past. We are putting that past in print for all to see. If history books fail to teach our children, Annahar will do so.”
The Dan Wieden Titanium Lions, celebrating game changing creativity, will be led by Chaka Sobhani, Global Chief Creative Officer, TBWA\Worldwide, Global.
The Jury comprises a collective of the industry’s most awarded and respected creative leaders, including multiple former Cannes Lions Jury Presidents and pioneers behind some of the most influential work of the past decade.
They represent the highest level of creative excellence and are widely recognised as setting the benchmark for the industry globally. In a historic first, Lebanon are represented on the Titanium Jury.

Cannes Lions has also revealed its inaugural Creative Brand Lions Jury for 2026 – bringing together some of the most influential voices shaping the global creative and marketing landscape.
The newly introduced Creative Brand Lion will recognise the visionary brands that are building the systems, cultures and capabilities that make world-class creative marketing inevitable and repeatable – and the practices that transform creative potential into lasting business impact.
The Jury will be led by AB InBev’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, Marcel Marcondes, and brings together a powerful cross-section of the industry’s most senior brand and creative leaders – individuals responsible for driving transformation across some of the world’s most iconic organisations.
Representing a convergence of both creative leaders and CMOs, this Jury reflects those actively redefining how creativity delivers growth at scale.
Commenting on this year’s line-up, Simon Cook, CEO, LIONS, said: “The calibre of this year’s Juries reflects the true architects of modern creativity – leaders who are actively shaping the direction of our industry.
